Ordinance No. 50
The Village of Reese provides for curbside collection of residential tree limbs, branches, and bushes, weekly and monthly. To expedite this collection, the Village requires the following:
1) Weekly schedule: Said material shall be tied in bundles weighing no more than forty (40) pounds and no longer than four (4) feet in length. Said materials shall be placed at curbside no sooner than 24 Hours prior to the weekly pickup schedule.
2) Monthly Bulk: Brush pickup, as provided for by the Village DPW shall be placed at curbside but not on the road, shall be picked up the last full week of each month. Said materials shall be placed at curbside all branches stacked parallel to the road no sooner than 48 Hours prior to the last full week of the month.
3) This ordinance prohibits the placement of any materials in the front of property that is not owned by the person putting out waste, i.e. must be on your own property.
SECTION 1. Severability: Each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase of this Ordinance is declared to be an independent section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase, and the finding or holding of any such portion of this Ordinance to be unconstitutional, void, or ineffective for any cause, or reason, shall not affect any other portion of this Ordinance.
Only materials for which comply with these regulations shall be collected. No materials from landscapers, developers, or other commercial establishments shall be collected at any time. Compost and Mulch are available at the Village Lagoon in the Spring and Summer for residents only.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and 30 days after publication as required by law.
Enforcement: This ordinance shall be enforced by either or all of the following, Police Dept., Code Enforcement and/or Dept. of Public Works of the Village of Reese.
Violations and Penalties: Any person(s) after being duly notified who continues to be in violation of this ordinance. Shall be subject to a Municipal Civil Infraction. Subject to a $25 fine first offence and a $200.00 or as determined by the Court for additional offences.
